Calamus Reservoir is a nice place to camp and fish. The lake has beautiful white sand and its only about 7 miles from Burwell. These pictures are from 2005 when we camped close to where the river comes in, but as you can see by the picture below the river is very low. Gracie Creek flows into Calamus and there is a fishing spot on Gracie Creek before it gets to Calamus. Its a great place to take your kids, they have a fishing pier with railing and benches. We have caught some nice trout there and you don't have to have a park entrance sticker.
